This book is part of the Alpha and Omega series but can be read as a stand alone novel. The series is an offshoot from the Mercy Thompson series and It is based on a mated pair of Werewolves. I love both series.
Charles and Anna are still in the early stages of their relationship and the bond they share helps them to understand the others feelings.
This is quite a sad novel in places and see’s the couple travelling to visit an old friend of Charles. The Aim, to by Ann a horse and to say his goodbyes to his friend.
The couple gets mixed up in a Fae’s evil plot around missing children, with deadly consequences. I always rate a book on how I can visualise scenes. This novel does that. The detail and explanation take you mentally to a characters surroundings. There is a lot of knowledge about horses which are pivotal to the plot.
Both series are well worth reading. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tracey A Wood is a new exciting author of Paranormal suspense, Romance and Urban Fantasy novels with a captivating twist
