Review of Born of Betrayal by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Born of Betrayal (The League, #10)Born of Betrayal by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The League series is more science fiction than urban fantasy. Normally I aren’t a Sci-fi fan, but with that said this is definitely an exception. The excellent plot/writing by Ms. Kenyon keeps you enthralled. I have read all of the league books and the Dark Hunter series and thoroughly loved them both.
This book follows hot on the heels of Born of Defiance, the story surrounding Talyn. Born of Betrayal is mainly about Fain Hauk and Galene, Talyn’s parents. There are numerous cameo appearances from previous characters in the series. It is fast paced and has a plot that makes you want to keep reading. It also fills in the gaps and explains a lot of the misunderstandings from both parents side. Ms. Kenyon is a brilliant emotional manipulator, making you swing from sad and pitying to happy and joyous, within a paragraph. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
