Modern day history buff Elz Phoenix used to daydream of being a Southern

world in any time, she’s doing exactly that. As their two families
travel down the east coast, a new contender is drawn to the fire in
Elz’s eyes. But no challenger could dissuade Devon from defending
his heart’s desire, not even the daunting McGrail brothers, fresh
from the Scottish Highlands.

Meanwhile, Griffin Valli is tired of time-hopping. He may be Elz’s brother,
but history wasn’t on his list of favorites in college. After a few
failed attempts at nineteenth-century romance, he’s headed home to
the women of the twenty-first century as soon as the family vacation
is over. He’s never liked charades, and he likes the games of high
society even less. But then he crosses paths with a daring young lady
and realizes his heart is in danger. Though he’s eager for a lover,
Griffin has no intention of falling for the beautiful Mars LaFrance.
Even so, fate is going to give him a run for his money.

“Are you sure
Hallstein was your mate in another life?” His eyes held hers as he spun her so
that they were facing each other. “Do you have memories of your time with him?”
He shook his head, spoke through clenched teeth and worked hard to keep rage
from taking over as he caught glimpses of what she had endured. “He did things
to you, Erica. Terrible things. Things that make no sense given you were
Maeva…his mate.”
She leaned back,
clenched her jaw and averted her eyes. “Yes, he was my mate. I’m sure of it.”
“Then why can’t
you look at me when you say that?” He tilted her chin until she had no choice
but to meet his eyes. “What aren’t you telling me? What’s the missing piece?”
He frowned. “Because something’s not adding up.”
“It doesn’t…you
just…” She frowned as well. “You need to let this go. You need to let me go.
It’s the only way this is going to work. It’s the only hope we have.”
“And where am I
supposed to let you go to?” He glanced around to remind her where they were
before his eyes returned to hers. “Because it’s out of my control, yes?”
“You know what I
“Do I?” He
stepped a bit closer and never removed his fingers from her chin. “Because as
far as I can tell you want me to believe you desire Hallstein when that’s the
furthest thing from the truth. I think you’re trying to push me away so that
you can somehow save everyone all on your own.”
Because he was
remembering his last life, he remembered what Maeva had looked like. While they
shared the same tall, lithe build with curves in all the right places, he found
Erica more stunning in this life. Her eyes were varying shades of striking
green that seemed to shift with her mood, and her warm skin tone was luminous.
He wanted to feel her soft skin against him. Touch every last inch of her.
She went very
still as their eyes held. Or so one would think if they couldn’t detect the
slight tremor that went through her. Shivers that only translated to another
dragon. He also noticed that she had gone from momentarily vulnerable to
completely closed off despite her physical reaction.
“You’re good at
that,” he murmured, shifting even closer to see if he could bring out that
tremor even more. “Trying to be strong for everyone else all the time. How long
have you played that part?” While he should have remained compassionate and
thankful, his inner dragon was flaring. The jealousy that reared whenever he
thought about her in the enemy’s arms. “How long have you been playing the part
of a woman trying to convince Hallstein that you’re his? How long have you
“No,” she cut
him off, yanked her chin away and narrowed her eyes. “What I’ve done to help
our people is not because—”
“Because you’re
meant to be together?” he cut her off just as readily, as he turned things
around on her. “Because you’re not, are you?” He shook his head and narrowed
his eyes as well. “You’re not supposed to be with him.” His voice dropped to a
whisper as the truth hovered just out of reach. Like a memory he was right on
the verge of remembering. “You never were, but something happened…”
Something he
needed to understand, so he thought fast. If one thing had been proven true
with his kin and their mates it was that intimacy seemed to speed up their
mental connections. So why not get things moving in that direction?
It seemed Erica
followed his line of thought because a moment later she started to move away
but he caught her. With an arm around her lower back, he yanked her against
him, cupped the back of her neck and kissed her.

The moment he
did, everything changed.

“If you love time travel romance, drama, and thriller suspense novels, this book is a must read!”

Present Day, ATTRA Lunar City

Charlie watched
Monica, the Commander of the Alien Time Travel and Research Agency (ATTRA)
unsheathe a nine-inch, pencil-thin, razor-sharp knife. Monica casually walked around
her desk to stand in front of the new female recruit kneeling on the shiny
black marble tile and slit the woman’s throat.
Turning to face
Charlie, Monica narrowed her eyes and said, “I caught this whore hacking into
my personal computer system. Dedria denied it, but I walked in, and my screen
was up.”
Charlie stood at
attention with her hands clasped behind her back. Her heart was pounding at the
brutal death of the innocent woman. Charlie had hacked Monica’s system and been
summoned to the gateway before she had time to replace the screen into the
sleeve of the wall. Monica returned early from her mission and caught Dedria in
her office and assumed the worst, slitting her throat before Charlie could
confess to the crime.
Monica stepped
over to her oblong glass desk. She pulled a tissue from her drawer, then wiped
the blood off the knife and returned it to its sheath that hooked on the belt
of her uniform. Taking a seat in the ergonomic white leather chair, she said,
“Charlie, you have real potential.
Are you up for a
Commander.” Charlie stared out the wall of windows facing the Milky Way. She’d
arrived at Lunar City shortly after tripping on acid at Woodstock in 1969. She
apparently fell through a time portal on the farm.
Charlie wished
she could remember what happened the day of the concert, but she’d been too
wasted. Not that it mattered because she was on a permanent trip now, like
something right out of a science fiction novel.
During Charlie’s
ATTRA training, she’d learned that after the Lord Supreme had created the
Earth, the moon was brought in and placed in perfect orbit to stabilize the
planet. The magnificent city within the interior structure of the luminous
silver moon housed several thousand people working for the organization
overseeing humanity, tracking Time Spinners, negotiating with alien
interlopers, while deflecting debris catastrophic to Earth’s existence.
ATTRA worked to
coordinate parallel universes and alternate realities to keep Earth’s path on
course to a future utopian society.
Charlie had been
placed under Monica’s authority, and with ATTRA’s strict protocols, it made
interference on the injustice she’d just witnessed impossible. Earth was
approaching a critical time shift based on the Time Trackers’ paradigm coming
in from around the world.
Monica motioned
for Charlie to sit in the white chair opposite of the desk. “Zane has informed
me the Lord Supreme recently assigned Ruben to monitor a Spinner crossing the
threshold on June 15, 1948 at 1500 hours.”
straightened her spine in the chair at the mention of Ruben, her friend, and
Monica said,
“The Spinner’s name is Julia Boatwright from North Carolina, born May 5, 1927.
She’ll give birth to a son, the first human physicist to break the barrier of
the space-time continuum into the distant past. Ruben’s assignment is to
protect Julia. He’s unaware of the child. Your assignment is to kill Ruben and
bring me the girl.”
Monica swiveled
back and forth in the chair with a glazed look in her eyes. “The Plates of
Prophecy state the time machine developed by Julia’s son will travel into the
far distant past. If I can train the boy, I’ll control the historical events on
Earth and use the information to barter with the more advanced civilizations in
the galaxies. General Agriaous and I have set up colonization of a new planet,
Veetreous, from the Andromeda Galaxy, and I need more Spinners.”
Charlie’s eyes
widened. She leaned forward placing her right hand on the desk. “You’re talking
about the lives we’ve sworn to protect. And kill Ruben? He’s one of our best
With a wave of
her hand, Monica scoffed, “For space sake wipe off that lovesick expression. I
admit Ruben is very good-looking, and well, not bad as a lover. Oh, I’m sorry.
I thought you knew we slept together. Do you want to end up on my marble floor,
Charlie?” A slow smile crept across Monica’s face as Charlie’s cheeks reddened.
“No, ma’am. But
if the Lord Supreme learns of you and General Agriaous using Spinners as slave
labor, it’ll be your head on the floor.”
“Silence! May I
remind you that you’ve sworn allegiance to me.” Throwing her hands up, palms
out, Monica said, “Look, Charlie, Ruben’s a threat to me. He wants my job, and
I won’t allow it. That girl and her child are not only my ticket to a seat on
the council but will also make me the Queen of Veetreous. If you play your
cards right, you’ll have more power than you’ve ever dreamed possible. I’m
issuing you a direct order, Charlie. Be discreet and make Ruben’s death look
like an accident after he meets Ms. Boatwright, and I’ll consider making you
the new Commander.”
Charlie clenched
her teeth and then replied, “Yes, Commander.”
Monica motioned
to the sliding glass doors. “Pick up the details of your assignment with Zane
outside, then send him in to clean up this mess. You’re dismissed.”
Charlie turned
on a dime and marched out of Monica’s office. She grabbed the assignment chip
and raced down the corridor, ducking into an alcove to gather her wits.
Charlie had to
warn Ruben. But how? Last she’d heard, Ruben had traveled in the Needle-Horn to
1950. Betraying Commander Monica Adams meant immediate execution, but Monica
was out of control, and someone had to do something to stop the power-hungry

Charlie headed
to the gateway for a quick trip to 1950.

Book Description:

Shannon usually prefers the dead to the living. But then running a funeral parlor offers a different perspective. Peace and escape. Or at least it did until the day she’s summoned by her sister to their Winter Harbor chalet in Maine. Now she knows the truth. The veil between worlds is far thinner than she thought. In fact, it’s so thin she can’t prevent her and her daughter, Emily, from slipping back in time.
Of dragon blood, Matthew Sigdir has suffered more loss than most. A wife. Sister. Now, because of a vicious enemy, possibly his son, Håkon. Infuriated, determined to find his child, he heads north over unforgiving land. What he doesn’t expect is a twenty-first century little girl and her beautiful mother, Shannon, to join him on his quest. Nor does he expect Hel to show them favor. And there’s no turning away Loki’s daughter when she offers help. Now they have to navigate not only through the elements of a wicked Scandinavian winter but Helheim itself, the underworld of the dead.
While they travel, Matthew and Shannon are forced to face their pasts. What they left behind and all that haunts them. As they do, old wounds heal. Hope grows. Love sparks. Through it all, Emily leads them ever closer to Håkon. She’s the key. But is it already too late? Will they make it in time to save Matthew’s son? Or is the enemy one step ahead of them?

Matthew nodded,
more and more impressed by her. He said nothing but watched her drink,
enthralled yet again by her appearance. Her slender body. The fine lines of her
She possessed a
quiet, mesmerizing sort of elegance and he found himself imagining what her
dragon might look like. Would it match the sleek blackness of her hair or would
it be the addictive blue of her eyes? He imagined she would make a stunning
addition to his homeland as she flew over its turbulent waters, the sea spray
coating her body in shimmering moisture. Which made his eyes fall to the
plumpness of her lips. The moisture left behind by the mead. Which led to the
way she had tasted when he kissed her.
“Matthew?” she
said softly with that tempting tone she was so good at. It was designed to be
soothing and compassionate for those going through difficult times, but his
dragon heard a little something else as well. A seductiveness he was fairly
certain she didn’t know she emitted. A sensuality he suspected was her inner
beast responding to his.
“Matthew?” she
repeated, tilting her head ever-so-slightly in question. “Are you with me?”
Oh, he was with
her all right.
Just in the last
way he intended. A way he thought he had been able to set aside.
“Yes,” he
managed, his voice a little gruff as he became overly aware of her scent still
lingering on him. “I am with you, Shannon.” He stood. “But as you said before,
it is time to rest. We’ll talk more tomorrow, yes?”
“Sure, if that’s
what you’d prefer.” She looked at him with concern, obviously refocused on the
battle and what had happened to him. “Whenever you need to talk, I’ll do my
best to listen, Matthew. What you’ve experienced, what you’re going through,
isn’t easy.”
Much to his
dismay, sexual frustration only grew as he pulled on his tunic and boots. He
didn’t want to talk but do something else entirely. And that only fed his
aggravation. He should want to get to the bottom of things.
Yet his muddled
mind remained focused on her scent.
Her looks.
On how she would
feel beneath him.
“It’s only
normal to be feeling what you are right now,” she murmured as they headed back.
“It’s normal to want to find relief from all the stress you’re under.”
At first, he
didn’t realize what she was talking about until he heard the switch of her
breathing in the darkness and caught the sweetness of her arousal. She was
catching glimpses of his thoughts and referring to his untimely lust. As they
cut through a narrow corridor of rock and were forced to walk single file, his
eyes dropped to her shapely backside, and he almost groaned.
Was it normal to
feel so strongly about her right now? To imagine pressing her against the wall
and closing his lips over hers more firmly this time? Then to fall to his knees
and inhale her desire? When Shannon cleared her throat, and her heart rate
increased even more, he knew for certain she heard his thoughts. And was likely
even well aware of his arousal through senses alone.
Especially if
they were dragon mates.
He could deny it
all he wanted, but there was no mistaking the way he responded to her. The
jealousy he felt not only when Kodran pulled her close but when Cameron put his
arm around her. He might have a real problem. Though he assumed he was well in
control of himself around female dragons, it seemed he was wrong. Because the
last thing he felt when she stopped short, and he came against her back, was in
“What is it?” he
murmured, unable to stop from lowering his head and inhaling the warmth of her
skin. “Why did you stop?”
“I just had the
strangest feeling,” she whispered.
A shiver of
awareness rippled through her when his hands landed on either side of her slim
waist. She liked the feeling of him behind her like this. And he liked it just
as much.

“What kind of
feeling?” he managed as he stepped even closer and kept inhaling. He was so
aroused he could barely remember why he shouldn’t be. In fact, any sense of
decency was just about gone.

Book Description:
A “Time Traveler’s Wife” meets “Outlander”
Deidre Thompson is a timeanaut studying artists in the early 20th Century powering her time device by sex. A mysterious stranger follows her from Paris 1899 to London 1914. He saves her life which changes the timeline.
The man, Max, reveals he’s been sent by the Time Counsel to save her. Max helps Deidre on the assignment. But he is secretly in love with her, and defied the Time Counsel to save her.
The timeline change brings Deidre’s past love back to life, and she must choose between them.
Chapter 1
Deidre climbed
the stairs to his loft and rang the bell. The door slid open. Inside, he was
Strong, young,
and handsome, he had brown hair that flowed down to his shoulders that she
loved to flip in her fingers. His tan coat was covered with flecks of paint,
but was set off with a large, dark blue cravat. He always let his work spoil
his clothes. It was his charm. He glowed with a smile when he met her eyes.
“Deidre, my
love. What brings you to Montmartre today?”
“You,” she
answered as she walked through the doorway, pushing him back toward the bed.
“You are my
little vixen,” he said as he removed his cravat with a flick of his wrist.
“Do me a favor?
He grabbed her
around the waist, but held up a hand to stall their descent onto the bed. An
expert at releasing a woman from frivolous garments, he expertly undid each of
her many pearl buttons, slowly, teasing her, as her silk dress began to fall
free. One tantalizing kiss followed another as he progressed down her until the
dress fell to the floor with a chorus of burgundy silk ruffles. After an
admiring gaze, he swung her onto the bed.
She turned to
see Philippe looking at her, his eyes focused on her bosoms as they peeked out
from the top of the tight corset, swelling with each breath she took. Though
she wanted to be free from its confines, she enjoyed teasing him with
anticipation. She rolled onto her side, her hair starting to unravel from her
pins, watching his reaction as he watched her. She smiled as he descended upon
her. “What are you looking at?”
“Something I
would love to paint.”
He lowered
himself down and kissed her gently with firm lips. She reached for his jaw
line, caressing it. Moving his hand down her leg, he slipped his fingers into
the top of one stocking and then the other, slowly rolling them down her legs,
kissing the insides of her warm thighs as he went. She reached down and pulled
on his hair, encouraging him to return. As he rose, he began to unlace her
corset, freeing her breasts, exposing her pert nipples. She caressed the front
of his chest, feeling the definition, the flatness of his belly. She stopped at
his waist, looking up with a smile.
“Should I
continue?” she whispered.
